About the Event
Join us and Mackay Regional Council for a consultation session, led by Wayfound Consultancy Service.
The session will include a 20 minute presentation followed by a discussion of road signage and feedback on local issues that will include what works and doesn’t work, what is needed, what needs to be removed, are there places people find hard to find? And more!
About this project
Purpose – To develop a whole of destination integrated tourism wayfinding and signage strategy that:
· improves how visitors are made aware of the diverse experiences, attractions and services on offer
· ensures current and future signage facilitates safe and enjoyable journeys for visitors
· provides a framework to make decisions on the location and style of all future signage

The main purposes of tourism signs are to
· safely and efficiently guide visitors to their destination, and
· inform visitors of the range of attractions and services available at a destination

For your convenience, there will be three consultations held across Sarina, Finch Hatton and Mackay. Please select your location preference when booking your ticket.
